Time Needed to Splat Someone

Based on the raw health of 100 with no Defense Up applied. (Damage Up is unable to decrease the number of shots needed, see Ability Stacking.) For a weapon that kills in n shots the fire rate delay has to be applied between the shots, i.e. the calculated time is (n-1) * rate. The projectile travel time is not accounted for.

Blaster, Luna Blaster: 0 s
.52 Gal: 0.151 s
Sploosh-o-matic: 0.166 s
.96 Gal: 0.201 s
Splattershot: 0.204 s
Splattershot Jr., N-ZAP '85,, N-ZAP '89, Splash-o-matic: 0.252 s
Aerospray: 0.264 s
Splattershot Pro: 0.276 s
L-3 Nozzlenose : ~0.302 s
Dual Squelcher: 0.309 s
Octobrush (direct hit): ~0.366 s
Jet Squelcher: 0.399 s
All Chargers: ~0.466 s
Rapid Blaster: 0.586 s
Inkbrush: ~0.705 s

Roller ranking is not yet determined as the windup is essential here.

Splat Roller: <Roller wind-up>
Dynamo Roller: <Roller wind-up>
Carbon Roller: <Roller wind-up>

Latest reviews

I have a question; would the aerospray or JR. kill first?

Given no defense/attack abilities that should be apparent from the lower list:
Splattershot Jr., N-ZAP '85,, N-ZAP '89, Splash-o-matic: 0.252 s
Aerospray: 0.264 s

So the Jr. splats faster.
Really nice and clear!
Easy format and simple guide with helpful info. Maybe now I can stand against the aerospray until I find the time to beat single player

Thanks for the positive review! Keep in mind that DPS isn't everything, if for example half the shots miss due to the weapon being inaccurate, high DPS won't help much. Personally i looked into this trying to find the weapon that works best "up close and personal" where spread and range won't matter much.

Maybe i should add a "limitations" section or the like...
