Seperate game modes will naturally develop different metas. No not all weapons wll be viable in ffa. Not to mention all you're doing is taking the current mechanics and placing them in a situation where they're all evenly against eachother. This is a different mode so you adjust the map/match...
So you're telling me when I play a ffa match I'm not allowed to pick a weapon that's good for ffa matches? Even then you play to your strengths in a match. If I pick a charger, I'm going to play like I'm using a carger, not a roller. So I guess I'm not allowed to use blasters for tower control...
I absolutely Agree. I feel some pipes need to be added to be able to get behind that top platform. At the moment it's too much of a pivotal point without much counterplay.
Silly CM2, If they were to create a FFA/Team Splatmatch you create an arena that can be changed with little blow up walls and such, and/or have a few different layouts that change every time it's played. the game weighs spawns based on enemy location, and also tries and spawns allies near...
The tournament excluding maps is a final choice to determine if the map itself is not conducive to a competitive environment. It is an extreme case and should only be done as a final resort. So No, I don't think it's contradictory, I just didn't provide enough information to complete my thought...
Yeah. You guys need a strict rule hardass with more transparency.
Turf war can GTFO
Also why that method for map/mode choices? Is there any reason why you did it the way you did? I don't feel maps should be banned by the players through the whole thing, Just Officially by the TO's like of...

The other one I can't get the design right in my head but I'm going to call it "The Splatapult"
Thankyou @ILikeKirbys for the Inspiration. I have dug up some relics again and adapted them to suit our needs. I present:
V.A.C
The Versitile All-Purpose Cleaner Is a special developed in conjunction with the small pink puffery that is @ILikeKirbys.
The V.A.C sucks up all enemy ink in...

Ohhohoho I like that idea. I may adapt it in the future
@ILikeKirbys you have some good ideas too! But too many for me to talk about on my phone. I'll have to wait till I'm home.
I have somthing like a park in mind for a concept I'm working on. There's the park in center sorrounded by a roundabout with cars and trucks and such going in a circle. The catch is that you can ride the tops of the cars in the roundabout and ink them to get behind your enemy, but. If you fall...
I've been trying to determine what makes a stage Great in Splatoon. While aesthetic and theme are inkcredibly important, what I'm talking about is the base layout. Take away all the fluff and frills and shinnies and what's left is a raw inkable surface. What makes these maps fun? Where is the...
It it I, the great Dr Archibald Octpyrean! During my investigation of your gentle culture, I've noticed a grave lack of interaction between the community. For this particular letter I will focus on Events. Events like your Splat Fest. Not Splat Fest exactly but events that community can...
