So the bonus unlocks are hero mode amour, cuttlefish's hat and the Octoling weapon - cool. Guess this sinks the hope that 50 would unlock an Octoling skin.

perfectly fine with stuff being unlocked over time. having it all at the start would be boring. games have always had unlockable content (hard modes, characters, weapons, secrets, etc) its a basic game thing.

im just happy with more Squid Squad and Squid Sisters - more bands and artists would make it clustered. 3's a crowd dont'cha know.

I was thinking that would be cool too. Or at least have two people make a talking video using the fanon language. Unless you find a nice remix or someone who can make a replica instrumental, singing might be hard. (Could try the Plaza song).

a guy on youtube (SilverTheHedgehog) had a go at me saying all the "misheard lyrics" and "lyrics translated" videos are official deciphers or the songs. he was acting really annoyed every time i told him the vocals were just jibberish with english and japanese words thrown in. and then he went...

i like the tumblr idea that other variants could be different species of squid. several tall, chubby squid girls have been named the "giant squid" type. [theres a cool post somewhere about different Octarian species]
