I was most excited for the charge shot, but i think the weapon is very underwhelming. It's range just isn't nearly high enough to warrant how crap it is at short and medium ranges. I hope the scoped one they showed in the direct is a really big range improvement. The splaettershot was really fun...
Alternatively It could be structured like competitive Halo where the three(or 5 in a bo5) game type/ map combinations are chosen before the set by the TOs, I think usually how they do it is that each set in a particular round(such as winners both winners semis sets) play on the same gametype/ maps.
Yah I guess I didnt really think about the ink spreading thing, the best thing about splatterjumping is I dont need to focus on paint spread early, if I have teammates willing to do it, cuz I can get to a good vantage point to try to get some early pick offs
Great to hear guys :) . I'm excited to try out the sniper, but im worried it wont have the same kind of cool movement options, but I guess we'll have to wait to find out
speaking of teams, is anyone looking to put a team together? I don't know anyone who is gonna get the game when it launches and I'd like to find a solid group to play with, and practice
I'm wonder what hitboxes are like when you are in squid form, because its possible that this might make your inkiling harder to hit than just straight up squid form
Based on what I saw on Smash boards and from the level of excitement at apex, it seems there was a bit of excitement for Splatoon among competitive Smashers. I for one come from a melee background been playing it for a couple years, and am just starting to take it really seriously. Just who here...
God damn that looks amazing, how difficult was the input for it? Did you have a lot of control over direction or could you mostly go in a straight line?
