@ILikeKirbys there's actually a separate thread for the .52, the .96, and the .52 Deco for some reason. I think that's a bit too much differentiation, but I'm not the one making them, soooooooo
Is nobody going to talk about the form-perfect beauty that is Stealth Super Jump? The ability to not have the fear of giving the opponents a double kill for trying to rescue an endangered ally is incredible peace of mind.
Also don't see the point of enemy ink resistance. Why are you standing in...
That's a good question, actually.
There's a huge gap between how easy it is to talk about banning things (broken Street Fighter character of the season, Smash 4 pre-nerf Diddy Kong, whoever's the best in MVC3 I'm not familiar with that game, etc.) and how difficult it actually is to get a...
Shooters, mainly .52 Gal or Splattershot Pro depending on what other map is in the rotation. Pro seemed to work better for me on this map, but advice for either is appreciated.
Generally with .52 Gal I'm looking for clever ganks to pull the rug out from the enemy team (I find it works great for...
I'm not really sure how to play this map on Splat Zones. Granted, I only tried it once, but I was having issues where any time I'd go after the splat zone on their side I'd get caught out before I could make it. Since they were doing a better job of pushing, there wasn't a lot I could do.
How do people win consistently on this map in Splat Zones? I can carry my team pretty often on Walleye and Saltspray, or perhaps I just have a playstyle that synergizes well with those two maps (haven't played much Arowana and Port Mackerel, Underpass is 50/50), but I struggle to make a...
I actually just came here to ask how people win on Blackbelly in this mode. I went 17-3 and we got the timer down to 2 and then lost control and almost let them come back--and that's been my only win on this map since the rotation started. I've found I'm good at consistently getting the zone at...
Just because something is potentially the best in the game does not mean it's worth banning. You could make an argument that Bubbler is one of the better specials in the game, but considering how often it's attached to guns that can't take full advantage of it (I'd splat somebody to have a...
RG also loses in combat to anything with more range than a toothpick. It does pretty nice DPS but has just enough spread where it has to get into close quarters to take advantage of it, and if you've gotten into close quarters against someone with a weapon designed for longer-range fighting...
^It's also very good in Splat Zones; flanking is a vital part of beating an enemy that's holed up defensively, and that's one of the only two flanking routes on that map and certainly the more defensible one.
