It looked like there was some kind of auto-aim too in one of the clips, after the inkling became a kid again the charger seemed like it just locked straight onto its target.
I've used the ink mine variant before in TC and it does a decent job. On Saltspray I used it to kill the whole enemy team as they rushed in for the tower to give my teammates an advantage, before placing ink mines to secure the tower. It's really about how you use it. I mean if you're playing...
