I think the fact that it isn't as popular due to the weapons it's paired with could lend the tactic some more practicality since they wouldn't be as familiar with fighting a splatling or .96 as they would be compared to say, a ttek or a SSP. Since they aren't as well-versed with their strategy...
I think it's too early to start drafting a tier list for weapons. Other than a handful of starting tournaments, we simply do not have enough viable competitive data to tell which weapons are by far the strongest. Although the tri-slosher and ttek may be showing up to be the stronger weapons out...
