Is it just me, or did Burst Bombs get buffed? I remember a single burst bomb doing about 20 damage (100 health total) in the firing range, but now they do 60 (!!). If it's true, then this sub weapon is waaaaay more useful as a splatting option.
haha I've never thought of how the skills affect burst bombs usefulness. I oughta give that a try when I get the chance. and I wonder if getting the sub-ink saver skill is any help too. one full tank = 4 bombs, so I wonder if it's possible to get close to 5 with that skill.
definitely agree with the e-liter; burst bombs are great for reducing how much charge you need for the killing shot.
I also agree that burst bombs aren't the *best* sub weapon but one that shouldn't be overlooked. I also don't want people to discredit certain weapon loadouts just cause bursts...
Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few people that actually like Burst Bombs as a sub weapon. With certain weapons they're a great way to get that extra damage you need for the KO. I think a lot of people assume Burst Bombs are supposed to be used for Turf Coverage, and while the Burst Bomb...
This is my personal favorite blaster. I always never liked the blaster cuz I was like, "come on! can't you be more like shotgun?? you should be one-shotting!!" the Luna Blaster was the answer, and I'm so happy now. It's my favorite weapon for splat zones, and its great to have another shotgun...
I gotta be honest, I absolutely love the Luna Blaster. It's the one blaster that practically guarantees a KO with a direct hit, and it clicks with me so well. It may have a much shorter range, but it makes up for it with a bigger blast, making KOs easier at least for me. It's one of my favorite...
hi, everyone! I haven't been to active on Squidboards, so I just wanted to say hi :)
Is this a good place to ask questions about the site? I just need a little help finding the right place to post threads before I noobishly post in the wrong place. Thanks in advance, and happy Splatting!
Sorry if I hit a nerve there, man. To be fair, I think a lot of Wii U owners are in a similar boat, including myself. My "group of friends" mostly consists of 4 living under the same house sharing 1 console. All my other friends aren't even gamers, so whatever.
Sadly I'm the only one in my group of friends who are interested in Splatoon. :( Hopefully I'll convince them otherwise once I show them the game.
Anyways, it's not really the price that bothers me; I just wanted to start a convo on how Splatoon's only "paid DLC" is being handled. Looks like...
So there are two main reasons to buy amiibo: collecting and game content. For the Splatoon amiibo, I want to buy them primarily for the game content (They look cool, but the game content is what's pushing me to buy one).
Thinking about the amiibo content got me thinking: If amiibo didn't exist...
