  • Haven't had the time to do SFM stuff, but I already have an idea for the next one I'm doing once I do get the time.
Well Nintendo, I hope you're happy. I was forced to make a gear set specifically for dominating in Tower Control since that's the next Challenge.

Yeah, I'm talking about using the Clash Blaster with pure Ink Saver (Main), pure Ink Recovery Up and pure Quick Super Jump. I just became my own worst nightmare.
I couldn't get to the 5% on this Challenge at all, so since Eggstra Work is the next event, I will try to go for the 5% on there instead, then I will come back to try to get to the 5% on the next Challenge.
Honestly I'm starting to get sick of Challenges because no matter what I do, there seems to be something completely out of my control that happens to make it so I can't get to the 5%, no matter how close I get to it.
The next SFM is of a fight between the Octarians and the Salmonids, but you will have to wait for the story to know the reason. Heh heh heh!
Also, if you're wondering why I haven't made a second SFM featuring Coral and Clam for Best Friend Day, it's because while they are brothers, they are also best friends.
Don't forget that Father's Day is coming up, so I will have a special SFM project ready before the holiday comes.
So I couldn't get to the 5% for this challenge, unfortunately. But the next challenge is in 3 days. And while I haven't played Tower Control in such a long time, I still remember most of how it works.

Getting to the 5% once regardless of challenge will be enough for me.

No, while I managed to get to 2025 challenge points, it still wasn't enough to get to the 5%, so I'm not sure how many challenge points are needed to guarantee first place.

That's a pretty good score! Me and one of my teammates got 1900's during the challenge.
So, before Big Run, there will be a Challenge (yet another limited time event in which I will have to shoot for 5% to get all of its badges at once), kind of bummed out that it has to be before Big Run.
Aw yeah! Weapons in Salmon Run are finally getting buffed! This will help a lot in the inevitable Big Run.
I haven't touched Ranked yet and I really want to play it enough for me to get to X and get all three badges related to X battles.

So, a question, is getting a higher-tiered badge before a lower-tiered badge of the same category also giving you the lower-tiered badge at the same time?

Getting a higher-tiered badge will always net you with the lower-tiered ones as well. Including the X rank badges.

That's great to know, thank you. :)

np and good luck on your badge journey.
Well, I'm going to try to get every single badge in the game, so out of the limited time ones I have left is one from Big Run and two from Eggstra Work, going to focus on those first.
Almost to getting my 20 Silver Scales for the day. Funny thing is the Horrorboros is actually easier for me than the Cohozuna, allowing me to farm more Silver Scales from it.
Up to 170 Silver Scales now. I decided to shoot for 10 Silver Scales per day since they add up to so much by the end of the month. I treat getting Golden Scales as bonuses until their inevitable grind to 333.
