A comprehensive list of the weapons I hate fighting

The only reason it's taken me so long to post this is because I had no idea where to put it. This seems like the more reasonable place.
I've always claimed to hate a very large number of weapons, but I've never been able to elaborate. Here's the comprehensive list:

Surprised Sloshing Machine isn't here since it's an aoe weapon with Fizzy and Booyah Bomb (still see plenty of people complain about it on Twitter).
I also didn't expect Painbrush to be up so high, specifically the vanilla kit.
Maybe it's because I play sloshers so I'm usually able to outrange it or at least kill it before it can kill me but I've never found the vanilla kit annoying.
I only dislike fighting the Nouveau kit because of Missiles.

Machine can definitely have its annoying moments, but it's not exactly easy. Let's just say I wouldn't give it its frames back. Though I do think its ink efficiency nerfs could be reverted.

As for Painbrush, it's literally in the name. The weapon sends out cascades of ink with barely any damage falloff, giving it way too much range for its AoE and damage. It probably would have been on the fence before they made it a consistent three-flick splat at its maximum range. Of all the ways they could have buffed it...

Although I'm going to be honest, I can easily see why this weapon would be annoying to play against. A weapon who spends most of the game hiding that can appear at any random time and just one shot you, on top of having the ability to team wipe. with the ledge poking being the cherry on top. The whole weapon just demands the entire enemy team to play in a constant state of paranoia.

Undercover I'm surprised to see here. I guess splat zone cheese but so many weapons can do that too, in a better way, and will most likely not instantly explode afterwards. Maybe a little explanation?

Splat Roller's ledge poking is a bit more than a cherry on top; it's the main reason I dislike the weapon. I'd be fine with it if it couldn't splat in one flick over a ledge.

As for Undercover, its auto shield regeneration has proven itself to be extremely annoying in multiple 2v1s. It also requires far less skill than and makes a mockery of the rest of the brella class. Reefslider is the cherry on top for the vanilla kit.

I'm curious about why there's no Wellstring. I know a lot of people find that one annoying with it's massive AOE's and insane object damage. Is it the precision the weapon needs for it's one-shots?

Splatlings are very balanced, for the most part. Just because I don't like fighting Hydras and nBallpoint doesn't mean I have an eternal loathing for all those who would dare approach me with one. No point in watchlisting them either; Hydra really can't get any more annoying than it is now, unless they buff its charge time, and even then it'd be perfectly tolerable.

As for Wellstring, it's one of my mains. Yes, it's annoying, but it needs its AoE to function as a weapon. It's also one of the most fun AoE weapons to fight against, up there with Machine.

This discussion has turned out surprisingly positive.

There's very few weapons I genuinely hate fighting so I don't agree with a lot of these but I do get your reasoning.

I'm mostly very surprised you haven't put tenta brella on here. I guess it's also a general thing, I've never seen any complaints about it on this forum, and I'm still kind of surprised.
Good tenta brella gameplay gets VERY oppressive. You tank a ton of damage and are essentially unkillable, you shark and insta kill people from behind, you force caps on the zone with your shield, you brute force points in rainmaker and clams, and you still have good range to two shot, not to mention you pop trizooka and vac. Some weapons in the game have no way of dealing with it either, it requires 2v1s.

Did you not put it here as a "That was bs but it's hard so I respect it" kind of thing or do you just not find it annoying? I'm curious since I feel like there's so many insane attributes on the weapon.

I have a complicated relationship with Tenta Brella. Its Sorella kit is flatly the best weapon for my favourite sub, Ink Mine. But as clearly stated in the post, I hate Tri-Zooka. I like the idea of the main weapon but I can’t get the hang of using it; even when I perform well with it, it just feels like it doesn’t have enough range. Splat Brella is the only one to lack this problem, if you ask me.

And if I’m being completely honest, I never encounter it when I’m playing. I see more Novas than Tents in my solo queues. Thinking about it, I should probably have vTent on the fence due to its Ink Vac, but I see no reason to dislike the main weapon. It’s better than fighting Splash Wall or Range Blaster. If not that, more respectable. Hitting one-shots with Tent is hard; I know from experience.

Honestly I was pleasantly surprised not seeing Hydra on the list, but also kinda not? Cause in my mind people who find Hydra annoying tend to be the kind that just run into it, instead of exploiting the main's very very exploitable weaknesses. Figured you were the latter, so I wasn't too surprised. But also Hydra can be very oppressive so I see it in people's disliked-lists very often. It's still nice to see the opposite here.

Having Nautilus on the list of weapons you hate fighting tho? Perfectly understandable. No notes. That weapon can be a menace if the person using it is competent.
