Trying to grind to hazard level max for the first time. Did get there, but then I fumbled hard and lost on the first wave at the last second. Taking a quick breather for now. Definitely gonna get it later.

I got up to 197 eggs, dethroned Triumvirate 4 times and reached EVP 999. I even got the Grizzco Chopper decoration for defeating Triumvirate at Max Hazard.

In Pokémon news I also defeated the Unrivaled Inceneroar. It’s been a great weekend.

I have far surpassed the highest needed to get the gold decoration, but now I'm just using this Big Run to get as many scales as possible, I'm hoping to get to at least 1000 Bronze Scales before this Big Run ends, and I'm saving them up for the entire Octoleet Set, which according to my calculations, require a total of 2400, yikes.

Update: I did it! And also beat the Triumvirate at hazard level max, which happened pretty much on accident! Taking breaks is actually a viable strategy!

I managed to break a high score of >200 and dethroned a Triumvirate while down a player. So far, so good. I don't plan to play too much more, but I'm definitely not done with the event yet.

Is it just me or are Big Run stages better when they're actually designed for Big Run?

I reached EVP 999 and got enough scales to buy the silver suit which is nice. I'm also enjoying Grizzco Slosher a lot more than usual but maybe that's because the map is pretty good for it.

Cracked 150 for the first time on a failed run last night lol. But then I got it honest on another round tonight. I’m not much of a salmon, so it’s my first gold decoration. Also, between this 15 scales and the handful I earned while playing, I can almost afford the Cap of Legend.

I have still never earned a Gold scale from an XTRAWAVE. All of my scales came from the reward capsules and Mr. Grizz's payout. I think I have another 17 to go before I can buy the Cap of Legend, the last Gold scale item I want from the Grizzco shop.
