Color combos that'd work great in multiplayer

Right now we have the following color matchups (from what I've seen):

Orange vs. Blue
Blue vs. Lime
Lime vs. Purple
Yellow vs. Pink
Orange vs. Cyan
Orange vs. Emerald
Emerald vs. Pink
Cyan vs. Pink

In Octo Valley, the Inklings use other colors like Neon Green, Pastel Green, Light Blue (not Cyan), and of course the Octarian's Dark Fuscha.

I was thinking what other color vs. color matchups would work in multiplayer, as well as be easy enough to see?

Orange vs. Blue is a great option for multiplayer, due to the fact that they derive from different parts of the color wheel. It would be much easier to navigate and differentiate which color is yours and which is your opponents. Another great option for multiplayer has to be Blue vs. Yellow. These two colors are in no way related to each other and stand out when placed near each other. Just like Orange vs. Blue, these color make it a lot easier to find your opponent and easily find potential inkstrike spots or the best route to infiltrate their base.

It's not in any mode right now, but I want Rose and Dark Green. Christmas!

That is also why there's a colour lock option, for colour blind people
Indeed. But in this instance, red/green color blindness is so common that it would force a rather significant portion of players to have to use color lock, despite the fact that they could see every other combination just fine. It's better to design around that block from the get-go than to force that many people into the sub-par option.

It's good they included color lock for those with the less common versions, though.

Dark Green would also be a bit hard to notice in some of the darker areas of maps, it's like they have to have the same level of brightness and not be either a pure red or a grayscale color in order to work without any problems.
