It would seem THQ is re-releasing the wii classic "Da Blob" on steam with some very nice extra features. To me this game was proto-Splatoon. It certainly has a lot in common, being a game where the goal is to "ink" all of a urbanized stylized city, topped with some incredibly fun local multiplayer. Anyone love this game? For me it's a big reason why I feel in love with Splatoon. (And if you haven't played it, this port seems like the perfect chance!)

I'm going to assume it will read the Wii Remote as a generic Bluetooth Device. Steam also does support motion controls wit its controller, so its possible. Rivals of Ether and Sonic Adventure DX natively support Gamecube Controllers via adapter, so it's not unheard of for Steam gamers to unofficially support Nintendo's controllers.
