Hello there fellow squids and kids! Hold on to your tentacles because a new Splatoon squad is ready to join the action! If you're up for some fun, then you've come to the right place!
About us
We are #DECADE, a new and fresh Splatoon team that's looking to have a great time! We're up for playing both competitive and casual, so there's something for everyone!
Pretty much all our current members are descendants of the now disbanded casual team Starlight Angels. Most of us want to keep playing casual, while others are willing to go into the competitive scene!
At the moment, we only have 8 members, and we're a bit struggling to get off the ground... Which is why we're calling all Inklings to sign up for #DECADE!
Time for a battle!
We really need more members to make a competitive roster, play scrims, practise as a team, and jump into the action. That's why we're mostly looking for new, as well as experienced, S and S+ competitive players! Your age doesn't matter, just keep in mind that our team currently consists of 13-17 year olds! So if you think you have what it takes to be a player for #DECADE, step it up and fill in our application form!
Not into competitive play? No problem!
We're always looking for new squids to join the casual team, playing squads or Private Battles together with a team of friends is where it's at! No competitive pressure! You can sign up here. And if you end up willing to play competitive, there's always the option of promoting you to competitive player!
Important stuff
- Keep in mind that #DECADE is not only a Splatoon team, but also a friend group. If you're up for joining, we expect that you at least have respect for your fellow members. This means having good sportmanship and not blaming your teammates in case of a loss(streak)! It's okay and normal to be salty every once in a while, just don't take it out on your team!
- Of course, we want you to feel welcome in our team and we hope to become good friends! After all, good friendship makes playing together so much better.
- Half of our members are European (actually, they're all Dutch!), the other half is American. Keep that in mind as well, as we're gonna base our practise times on this in the future. On a side note: if you're Dutch, it'd be so great if you decided to join!
- We only use Discord for communicating, so make sure you have a Discord account before signing up!
- It's okay to be in another team already, but only if you're heading for the casual team. You've got to dedecade (Get it? Dedicate and deDECADE? They sound similar? Hehe...) time into the team if you're going for competitive.
- Oh yeah, expect alot of bad puns and jokes to be made in our server.
- We use [ю#] as clan tag, we require that all our members use it in their IGN.
