Did Inkopolis Create its Own Militia? (Theory)

Back at it again with another theory! This one is about whether Inkopolis created a militia for itself and how it was possibly done.

You may be thinking, "How did Inkopolis create a militia?", well, this is where I'm going to explain by the purpose of ink battles and how they would train such a militia.

First off is Turf War, this one is pretty simple to understand. As seen in the game, if an Inkling or an Octoling were to walk on ink that's not their own, their legs would sink a little and make it harder for them to walk properly.

Now let's talk about Splat Zones, this one is still simple to explain, it's like Turf War but the difference being that areas that need to be in control are very specific. This is possibly training cephalopods to capture and keep key areas out of the enemy's reach, a tactic that's actually very important in real battles.

Now for Rainmaker, this one is a little bit tougher, but think about as if there is very important information about the enemy's weakness, this would obviously provide a huge advantage in battle, which the enemy would obviously not want your side to know, thus your side would make the utmost importance to protect that person at all costs. It also makes sense seeing the person can defend themself if the situation calls it, a perfect analogy to how the Rainmaker itself is a weapon.

Tower Control is next, this one is actually easy to explain, this trains cephalopods to protect shipments because if the enemy happens to raid it and succeed, they would be able to use the supplies for themselves. The side who claims the supplies would get an upper hand in battle. It also makes sense from a reality standpoint, even if a raid is successful, the enemy would still need to take the supplies back to their base, setting up for a counter-raid.

Finally Clam Blitz, which is the hardest one to explain, but I will still try. This one would train cephalopods on a mission to gather intel, which can be easily passed between people on the same side, obviously, you want the intel to make it to your commander, if the enemy found out, they will try to hunt down everyone who knows the intel because that could be crucial information. Just like the clams in Clam Blitz, the intel can be told in pieces until someone gathers it all through allies and even their own intel.

Before I close out this theory, there is also the fact that pretty much every cephalopod in Inkopolis who participate in ink battles carry weapons. This may have been accidental due to the sporty nature of the ink battles hosted or it could be intentional to make sure that if a second Great Turf War was to happen, they have defenders ready to keep the city safe.

I believe that Inkopolis is a citystate so having a militia would be good for defence
Inkopolis being a citystate makes sense as we have never seen any form of an actual nation within either of the games. Plus, Inkopolis only had an army during the Great Turf War, not being heard from the army of a nation since an important event is strange, giving more credence to the fact that Inkopolis is a citystate and not part of a nation itself.

While I do believe there is an army. This is like saying that nerf guns and paintball train us for the military. But the competitive nature of cephlings would likely mean that even if there was no army. they would be able to handle themselves.
