Did Octarian Technology Already Exist in Inkopolis?

So, there has been something I have thought about ever since Spawn Points became part of the lore. It's very possible that Octarian technology has been existing in Inkopolis during Splatoon 1. What I mean is that there are checkpoints throughout Octo Valley and Octo Canyon, they were the first kind of Spawn Points created, they are also less resource-intensive. Plus the reason could be that if an Octoling would reach it before an Inkling of another color, the Octoling would prevent the Inkling from respawning.

It's also noted that most Octarians fought during the campaigns are not Octolings, meaning that the checkpoints are there for Octolings to use since they are the only common Octarian who can respawn. It's also very interesting to note that Inklings were always technologically inferior to Octarians, even during the Great Turf War. We see in a Sunken Scroll that there was an explanation of how Octavio's tentacles were inside the bosses in order to pilot them. The same Sunken Scroll states that the technology is ahead of the world by 15 years, that's some majorly advanced civilization if that's the case.

Which brings me back to the Spawn Points, it is very likely that every Spawn Point in Inkopolis was built using Octarian tech, this would also explain what other purposes Sardinium used for aside from upgrading weapons. Moreover, this would explain why none of the islands in Salmon Run has Spawn Points, that's because the Salmonids don't need them, considering none of them have the capability of respawning.

Heck, it can even be argued that checkpoints have at least existed during the Great Turf War, because it states that Octarians had a big lead in terms of technological advantage. In fact, it could be possible that the technology wasn't wireless at the time, which would ultimately lead to the explanation of the "plug being pulled out of its socket.", this plug could have powered the checkpoints that Octolings respawned from, leading to the Octarian's losses of the Great Turf War.
