Do anybody else tilt in this way?

I'm not 100% sure what to title this thread but here it goes. Something I noticed about myself today was how I tilt, more specifically what cause me to tilt. It's not enemy players, or my teammates but myself. To explain this better let me explain what happened just 30 minutes ago.

I was playing s-blast on hagglefish and one of the enemy players was playing range blaster. Now I know what to do against range blaster and its strengths. Game start and I see that range is going right, what I should of done was wait for range to try a flank and proceed to kill them. What I did instead was instantly drop to right and try to fight a weapon that I KNOW outranges me and proceeding to get killed. Queue me tilting

I was getting salty at something I did. Now if this was the only time this thread wouldn't exist, but it does so that means that this happened to me multiple times. Not me getting killed on right side of haggle but more me making a dumb/bad play and then proceeding to beat myself up over it.

This just leads to this vicious cycle where I make a dumb play, I beat myself up over it, I play worse, I make more bad plays, I beat myself up over it, repeat until maximum tilt.

That not to say that I don't get salty in other ways. But it just a lot more rarer for me to get salty in a way that's not about me doing something dumb.

Its why I'm asking this question because I want to know if I'm the only person that this happens to.

that's real actually. except for rare moments in solo q if i'm getting tilted it's because i did something stupid and immediately realized it

i'm more of a Sad Tilter™ so maybe that tracks lol. i make a mistake and i go oh :( im just bad at the game :(

You’re familiar with the phrase, “don’t hate the player, hate the game,” Yes? This basically describes my tilt. I end up entering a vicious cycle of criticizing the game; whatever part of it is causing me to lose.
Unsurprisingly, the thing I’m most often critical of is shooters. Second place goes to poor stage design. Third place goes to Splat Zones as a mode.

I will NOT tolerate ANYONE dissing splat zones! Isn't it everyone's favourite mode?

Comp players seem to love it. Of course, organized play is very different from solo queue.
Splat Zones is the only ranked mode to have no rubber-banding. If you're losing, you have to manually push back against the full force of the enemy team to get control of the objective.
Tower and Rainmaker both make it so the team in control of the objective has one of its players nerfed, and they have to move deep into enemy territory to gain points. Clam Blitz gives a team a pity clam after their basket closes, and players carrying power clams are revealed on the map; not to mention a team has to make it halfway into enemy territory to score in the first place.
In zones, you have an unmoving area in the middle of the map that continues to tick down even if the team in control of it is wiped out. Half the time when that happens, they can get back to the zone in time to keep the other team from capping it.
The only map that does Splat Zones well is Bluefin Depot, because it's the only map where the zone moves closer to the team that isn't in control of it.

I kind of want to take a formal survey of people's tilting styles and triggers along with other things like favored weapon roles and when they started/how often they play just to see if there are any correlations, but it would probably take hundreds of responses to even begin to be effective and we don't have that many people here, lol. But I have a couple of extremely loose theories that it would be neat to gather evidence for sometime (whether to prove or disprove)

I’m kind of curious as to what those loose theories are it sound pretty interesting NGL
