I figured I should set up a Social thread for my favourite franchise, Dragon Quest! If you don't know anything about it, Dragon Quest is a traditional turn-based Japanese RPG created by Yuji Horii, composed for by Koichi Sugiyama and with artwork by the legendary Akira Toriyama.
So, Dragon Quest fans, what's your favourite game in the series? I have to give it to III for a few reasons: nostalgia, the brilliantly designed world, a neat class system, my favourite final boss in the series and a wonderful soundtrack. My runner up is Dragon Quest VIII for its great cast, phenomenal soundtrack and tremendous sense of scale and grandeur.
