If you've played Microsoft's 2003 Sci-fi Magnus Opus, Freelancer, congrats, here's a Super Sea Snail.
It's a deep space combat and trading sim, created by Wing Commander visionary, Chris Roberts. It takes place in the Sirius Sector of the Milky Way Galaxy.
If you've played the SP Campaign, good on you! You already know what has happened between 800-801 A.S. This story my Inksona is in takes place in 823 A.S., Gallia and Bretonia are at war with each other. As is Liberty and Rheinland. With the Sirius Sector divided, Miranda Mae-roon gains an edge by allying her Tankhood with the Nomads, guardians of the Dom Kavash, a sentient race that once ruled the galaxy before the races of Men, Inklings, and Octolings.
Only Sigma can pacify the Houses and unite them to fight the Nomads. But at what cost?

Sigma is now the head of the Cephalopod Defense Initiative, which is a division of The Order, a group of humans that fight the Nomads. The number of Cephalopods on active duty has just exceeded 1,000 members, including over 100 officers. Under the supervision of Col. Edison Trent, the CDI rarely has any action, under his watch. But that is about to change, soon. After Sigma has a word with Trent.
