But seriously, does anyone play Guild Wars 2?
I played GW for probably 3 or 4 years before all of my friends stopped playing and it wasn't fun anymore. But I LOVED that game. It reminded me of Magic:the Gathering with the skill setups and the builds. So, when Guild Wars 2 became free to play last month, naturally I picked it up.
I honestly haven't played it much, but it has been greatly underwhelming for a game that got such critical praise. They changed the core mechanics of the game SO much that it feels so disconnected from the first game. I'll still give it a go, but I have to say I'm disappointed.
Anyone else have tips or thoughts?
