Nerfing Brellas 101

The reason I want to nerf brellas out of the meta - no, the game - is incredibly simple; brellas are the most difficult class in the game (even if not by design), and brellas require the most cope to main and play consistently. The first of these is good actually, it makes sense to have a class for those who want a challenge and prove themselves. The second point is avoidable, except it isn't, because we are still in the process of trying to dissect Nintendo's thought process when it comes to how they roll out their updates.

I originally intended to make an additional point about the brellas mains' toxicity in the community, whether it be between the naive ones who fight and strive to be seen as the courageous underdogs or the seasoned ones who know well they are doomed to always be at a disadvantage and take it out on others. After looking back at the countless clips where I unintentionally destroyed them both in 1v1s, however, I decided it was infinitely easier just to pull a necessary evil and nerf the class further into oblivion to crush all of their dreams completely and thus prevent further pain and suffering.

Brellas will be covered in the order they are unlocked.

Splat Brella
Time to open canopy increased by 122 → 166 frames.
Time between consecutive shots increased by 30 → 40 frames.

Recycled Brella
Canopy HP decreased from 100 → 50.
Conopy damage decreased from 20 → 5.
Time to launch canopy increased from 40 → 65 frames

Tenta Brella
Pellet base damage decreased from 17 → 14.
Main weapon ink consumption increased from 11% → 12%.

Undercover Brella
Canopy closes after shooting for 60 frames.

ADDENDUM: Trizooka
Cooldown before firing increased from 15 → 25 frames.

This is not only a nerf to the Tenta Sorella Brella but also a healthy buff to the meta for those who actually encouraged to continue playing the game.

Splattercolor Screen
Visual dampening effects amplified.

Once again, this indirectly nerfs the Undercover Sorella Brella in the long term by increasing the harmful effects of its special, forcing tournament organizers - and perhaps Nintendo themselves - to ban its users outright. This will also make people who attempt to play it get canceled on social media, which would be funny and potentially boost morale.

If you made it all the way to the end, thank you for taking the time to read what is my subtle attempt to buff the other deserving classes - specifically shooters, such as the Splattershot Jr. Any feedback is encouraged as long as you agree brellas need to be exterminated at all costs for the greater good. Shield launch time reduced from 2 to 0,5 seconds.

Tenta Brella:
Launched shields no longer paint.

Undercover Brella:
Range reduced by 70% but canopy contact damage increased from 15.0 to 95.0.

Recycled Brella 24:
Launched shields duration time decreased from 2.88 to 1 second.

And I thought Recycled Brella having no way to use an attached canopy was bad. Good luck putting out a shield frailer than a Sprinkler!

Ehhhh it's just undercover HP I'm not sure if this is as significant

I was TERRIFIED that this wasn't satire, until I read the end. then I laughed really hard.
