Octo expantion help please

I don't know if I missed something obvious, or if it told me about it and I accidentally skipped the text, but I just got the expansion the other day, started, did a few challenges, yk, then I was like "hey, I wanna go play some multiplayer" and I've looked around for a while and, how do you get back to the hub area? cuz I can't seem to figure out how, nor can I find anything about it online.

*edit-yes im aware i spelled expansion wrong.

There is a set of magazines in the back of the train, getting near them and pressing A will take you back to the hub area, alternatively, you can press + while viewing the map for the same thing to happen.
