I just did my first lets play and it was on MArio Rabbids. So far I would say its good. Great art, gameplay, and characters, but I havent decided if I'd recommend someone should buy it. Opinions?

I picked it up on a whim a couple of days ago. I've only played an hour or two due to time constraints, but so far, I'd recommend it.

Didn't care about it at first—then I learned it would be a tactical RPG—and then shook my fist vigorously as I cursed them for finding my weakness.

Right now I'm only a couple of hours in, still in the first world.

i just hit a wall with it. it suddenly got really hard haha
So it really is rather X-Com-ish, lol. One of the X-Com devs is pretty happy about the game and also surprised they didn't think of it.

Fantastic game, and a very challenging one. Right now I'm in world three and they just introduced a new class of enemy who is really scary to fight. And the enemy HP levels keep getting higher and higher. There is an easy mode where your team's max health is upped, which is nice in case you hit a wall.

I highly recommend the game to anyone, but with the caveat that it's not a walk in the park. It will take a good amount of strategy and caution to win the battles.

I've played about half the game so far, and I've been having a really great time with it. I've already recommended it to a few of my friends who have Switches, and would definitely recommend it to anyone else.

One particular moment I had with it stands out as probably the hardest I've laughed at a video game in a long time. I was playing the first Toad escort challenge from World 1, the one where Toad starts out surrounded by enemies. I figured I'd take one of them out with Rabbid Peach to give Toad a bit more movement, only for the Push chance from her weapon to activate and send the enemy careening into Toad like a cannonball. Toad was sent flying and screaming off the stage, and I had to put the controller down for a minute or two because I was laughing so hard I was afraid of pressing wrong buttons by accident.

There was also the challenge where you have to kill 5 Pirabbid Plants with the aid of Chain Chomps. I ended up winning that challenge when one Pirabbid Plant killed his ally with the same attack that killed my last team member. I finished the challenge with my whole team down, but apparently that's good enough.

Honestly, I think this might be one of the most surprising games I've ever played. When the details of it were first leaked months ago I was fully ready for it to be one of the least interesting games of the year - not a bad game necessarily (though I wasn't expecting it to be particularly good), just one not worth caring about one way or the other. Then at E3 it turned out to be interesting, then at launch it turned out to be good, then while I was playing it turned out to be funny, and after I made a certain amount of progress it turned out to be hard. I never expected it to be any of those things, but life surprises you like that sometimes.

I haven't bought it yet, but I intend to when I hit level 30 and take a break from Splaoon 2.

I'm super psyched to hear that this game is good and people are enjoying it, the Rabbids games are underrated in general imo. (Except for the kinect, Invasion and the mobile games lol.)

I picked it up because it looked interesting and funny, and something new to play at work on my hour long lunch with no internet. I've gotten to world 4 so far and it's good, but after I beat it I don't see much replay interest for me even with the season pass (weapons, more challenges and extended or new story) that I probably won't be getting. I haven't tried co-op but it would add more for people into playing with friends. It gets hard and would be good for a completionest with all the collectables. The skill tree's add diferent play styles which works, but the weapons feel useless after you get better ones and I wish there were fewer weapons that had different abilities that level with you personally. That's my opinion on it.
