Yet, Skylanders' Tweet wants to confirm a Splatfest about Donkey Kong...
and NintendoAmerica retweeted it...I'm guessing it's gonna happen.

I feel like this is more about promoting Donkey Kong being in Skylanders, since they asked Nintendo for the rights to him and Bowser to do the crossover. DK isn't a major character in Skylanders or really in Mario, so he wouldn't make sense as the topic of a splatfest, and even if he was, it should have been a Twitter account relating to Mario that tweeted about it.

I think the Team Bananas thing was just to say Team Bananas. However, if it is a Splatfest, I'm taking the other team.
