For a few weeks now, I've been seeing lots of people expressing how hyped they are for Splatoon 2.

But while everyone has been jumping for joy and talking about how hyped they're for the games release this summer, I have been thinking about what Nintendo might change in the next installment.

I'm kinda anxious that Nintendo might scrap a weapon entirely from the game.

What weapons do you think may get scrapped from the game in Splatoon 2?

Side note: When the game gets released and no weapons end up getting removed, then this post will be considered obsolete and should be deleted by a moderator in the future.

Yep, but we can expect the same basic performance from the existing weapons. I doubt their general role will change much.

They are bringing back the old weapons, but they said they'll "remix and re balance them", so we'll see the same weapons, just with different stats and load outs.
