Okay, so this thread's purpose is to take all of Splatoon 3's possible spoilers. If you don't want anything spoiled, then leave this thread now. I should also say that if there's anything spoilerus, hide it as spoilers or inline spoilers.

First of, the original Agent 3 is customizable, in a possible roundabout way. So he/she will take on the appearance on the one you customized from Octo Expansion (you need to allow Splatoon 3 to recognize your Splatoon 2 copy, and Agent 3 in Octo Expansion should've already been recognized). If there's no data, then Agent 3 will have the female appearance with green eyes and a darker skin tone. But either way, you will be able to customize Captain 3 afterwards, using just Splatoon 1's customization, on a picture through Cuttlefish's cabin.

Correction: You are able to change Agent 3's appearance much earlier, since Cuttlefish's cabin is right at the start of the tutorial area of the story mode.

Here are more spoilers coming, again, if you don't want to be spoiled, this isn't the thread for you.

Okay, so DJ Octavio actually did not steal the Great Zapfish this time. He actually attacked because he thought Cuttlefish was the reason the entire Octarian army disappeared. So, this sort of confirms that DJ Octavio is a possible good guy, just that he was accidentally good at hiding that.

Some things that are not related to story:

Your locker is already filled with a few things, but you can remove them if you want. You can actually change your Grizzco outfit and there are some Grizzco-related decorations that you can put in your locker. King Salmonids can actually be defeated, just that they take a lot of hits, so good teamwork is the key to defeating them, Golden Eggs can be used as a projectile and Boss Salmonids spawn as well, so watch out and use the opportunities to chuck Golden Eggs at the King Salmonid. Oh yeah, throwing Golden Eggs use ink, so be careful with that. Cohozuna can do a huge version of the Splash Down, so be really careful with that as well.

More spoilers coming your way! All related to stories this time.

The members of Deep Cut are actually bosses in the story mode, you fight them separately, their reason for being bosses is because they want the "treasure" to help Splatlandians out. They saw the New Squidbeak Splatoon as the threat to their goal.

So, it was discovered that the evolution of squids and octopi into Inklings and Octolings respectively started was due to the liquid crystal (which had humanity's desire to see the sky) that fell into the water. It also confirms that some of their internal biology became similar, if not identical, to land-dwelling species, possibly more similar to humans.
