My two cents: What's wrong with getting the salt out or bragging every once in a while? What's wrong with complaining about an annoying thing happening? It's natural to get a little frustrated with a game you play frequently. It's also natural to want to talk about your achievements. It's odd to me that you're trying to criticize such normal things.
Not to mention, threads like those are specifically meant to be revisited, while threads with actual discussion would naturally tend to die down overtime. Especially because more in depth discussion of gameplay and mechanics generally goes to other subforums dedicated to those topics. This is a pretty skewed look at the community, and trying to use this as proof that it's bad (or whatever it is you're doing) is pretty silly.
