Arowana Mall wall bypass and Camp Triggerfish middle jump fixes. Bugfix for explosive sub weapons sometimes hitting through Splash Walls. Something about a camera fix for roller users too. If I'm reading the bit about Tower Control right, it seems that losing the tower when you match opponent's distance puts you back in the losing position as it was in 1.3.0.

Good. I thought giving the other team an advantage for tying was stupid.

Looks like the patch is 598MB. That's rather large for "simple" bugfixes.
I would assume the terrain changes are in there however. I bet it'll get datamined rather quickly.

Wow, fast patch for Arowana wall glitch. Nintendo was extremely quick on the uptake. Looks like they don't want any glitches however minor being in the game, which I can see why they would fix.

Doesn't look like there's any big changes, which is kinda surprising.

God, yes, I knew something was fishy sometimes. Can't be lag all the time. In fact this is probably even a little buff for the walls :D

Too bad they will fix the Mall wall clip. I liked it as AT. But again, this proves that Nintendo is up-to-date in terms of all the Splatoon meta developments and that's just awesome.

Sub Weapon adjustments
  • Splash Wall: In the situation a bomb hits the enemy’s Splash Wall, players standing on the other side of the Wall would receive damage. This has been corrected
Gotta love the :splashwall: buffs!

Uncompressed file hype
Actually the only thing not compressed is music, each map is like 50+MB lmao
So they have enough space to add all 4 of the in-progress maps, probably only 3 though, based on how finished the map files currently are, and a bunch more weapons to quietly push when they want.

So they snuck in more weapons too? Spiffy. Is a finished BigBall_Launcher among them?

Oh nice! Glad to know that little wall clip is being fixed up.
Even though I did wanted to try it, I can see how that can be a huge disadvantage to the people who have no idea that's a thing or how others would call it, cheating.
Eh- the splash wall, I can care less about that.
But glad to know some things are being patched up!

Haven't checked to see if it it's up yet. If they're smart they'll have learned and put it up during the maintenance period and not a minute before

Is that 598MB for just this patch alone or total for all updates?

I would assume with the other updates. But the update data is currently only at 285 MB. So there's about 300-ish MB of data
on top of that. It's still an odd file size despite the patch notes.

Do you know what the in progress maps are?
