Hello I'm Ice. If you are in or a captain of a team, you should keep reading.
A brand new weekly tourney is rising, SPLAT CAMP. This tourney is to help you and your team train for future tournaments, scrims and even LUTI.
Here is how the tourney works:
Your team will be assigned a Division, A, B, C, or D (it’s completely random). You will battle 5 games against all the teams in your division, plus two other teams outside of your division. The goal is to get the most wins out of your division of 4. If you come in 3rd or 4th place in your division, bye! you get eliminated. If you come in 1st or 2nd in your division you move on to the single elimination tourney.
Rules:
1) Once you are assigned a game, you and your teammates have 6 minutes to enter. Whoever didn't make it cannot play in that game (the whole series of rounds).
2) Once a round ends, the host of the private battle has to wait for 3 minutes before starting a round. In those 3 minutes you can sub and re-group etc.
Note: If both teams say they are ready then you don't have to wait.
3) If you DC you only get a redo if the objective was above 65 and the game is only a minute or less in (NOTE: you only get 3 redo the whole tourney). If the host DCs, Same rules apply, except the host's team loses the round if the objective was below 65, even if they are winning. (Just have good wifi and you will be alright ;D)
4) If you have a division tie for 1st place, do a 1-round tie breaker
