What weapons do you enjoy fighting?

Splatoon has a lot of weapons which can be pretty annoying to fight to say the least
But the question I pose to you today is this what weapons do you enjoy fighting?
For me I love fighting Brella and dualie squelchers the interaction is so interesting because the fights last a while especially when I myself am also playing brella

One-shot chargers are really fun to fight againts. It's like it's own separate game trying to figure out when they're going to take their shot. When to jump over the shots and which way to jump. When to peek out from cover. And then releasing the Splatling's charge at just the right moment to get them before they get me.

They might be my beloved mains' single worst matchup, but it is such a fun matchup regardless

Any charger, I like hunting them down, my favorite map for it is Urchin Underpass because Luna is able to peek very well. I can jump from the other ledge for a direct, I can Super Burst Bomb them, I can peek from the middle section, I can swim around close to the enemy base and just ambush them.

I love fighting sloshers, particularly Dread Wringer. As a midline player, it's hard to get into genuine fights; you're either outranging a frontline or outdamaging a backline. The midline sloshers are not only weapons that I can get into satisfying 1v1s with, but their unique terrain-oriented fighting style makes them a unique challenge compared to line-of-sight weapons.
My one gripe is that a certain weapon in the class doesn't play its direct hit sound to the player on the receiving end.

I would also say blasters, but I don't like fighting blasters. I don't think anyone who doesn't play blasters does.

I like fighting any shooters. Especially with rollers and chargers. It gives me a sense of satisfaction when I prove that I am actually okay-ish with a roller. And when I am sniping and a shooter comes up behind me but I am already charged, I always feel better about myself when I am quick to realize that they are there and splat them anyway. :DDDD

I never really thought of that being necessary but that's probably because I play sloshers (and some blasters) so for me it's about killing the Machine player before they can get out their second shot.
If it turns out they only hit me with the indirect then that's good but it's not something I'm focused on.

Answering the main question of the thread though, my favorite weapons to fight have to be Range Blaster, Stamper, and Splat Brella.
RB can get annoying but I'm also playing an AoE weapon so it's really fun closing in and having a fight between who can hit their shots up close first.

I do enjoy fighting shorter range weapon because it feels more action-packed than sneaking up to a long range weapon. Dualie fights can be quite fun, because it really feels like a test of mobility and aim.

Stamper because it's such a high-skill ceiling weapon and seeing people use them well honestly just gives me life. If I see that they got a negative KDR, it's so understandable because it is such a high-skill ceiling weapon.
