When do you use the "This way!" button?

Now this one should be a lot more interesting than the booyah post
I am actually pretty interested in what you guys have to say cause I feel like I could be using "This way!" more
I only use it for "do [insert objective]!"

As the backline This Way! is my "SOS! Enemy on me!! Help!!!" signal.
It's also useful on Rainmaker for the same reason. If you're carrying the RM, use This Way! You might live!

Similarly to Booyah Bomb, I also use This Way! to indicate where I threw my Tacticooler, since you can't see it on the map for some reason

• If anyone less than my entire team can't see the Tacticooler I just placed.
• On the rare occasion that I'm the first person in my Salmon Run shift to notice low tide.
• After finding a Boss Salmonid I can't effectively fight.
• By accident.

I generally use the "This Way!" command to give my teammates the all clear signal to push the objective or move into an area of the map. Would definitely have to say that the most useful mode for it is Rainmaker, where you really do have a clear a path and stick together.

Again let's not talk about when I'm tilted from all of my teammates doing nothing and kill like three people

• When I see a Goldie and we all have to **** it in the *******.
• When an enemy is being our lines in turf war (happens way more often when it should).
• When I have the rainmaker and I don't have the secret service on my *** at all times.
• By mistake (shame).
• Squid party.
• When people are behind enemy lines wasting their time getting bum ***** while trying to kill people and need to fall back.

-when I place tacticooler
-when we are at the enemy base and someone snuck past us, I always signal saying, "Hey! There's someone over her too!"
-when I die during the last few seconds knowing we are going to lose, I say it at spawn. to me, it's almost like saying, "we literally only have three seconds left and we are in danger. what are we still doing?"
-on accident
-in lobby, I will push "Booyah!" and "This Way!" repeatedly because it looks silly :D but only with my friends or if someone else is goofing off.

Whenever I see somebody ignoring the objective like just chasing an opponent or backtracking with the rainmaker when it's not needed, I have ADHD so I definitely understand the struggle . I also just accidentally hit it when I'm in an intense match from my thumb slipping off the stick, I really wish the Booyah! and This Way! button were switched because it's easier to hit the top of the D-Pad and you're probably using Booyah! significantly more. I know you can remap them but it doesn't reflect ingame and that screws with my brain.

-when a teammate (often a brush) is hiding in the enemy base accomplishing nothing
-when my team is pushing forward but there's another route they could take that the opposing team kinda forgot to defend (or it's at least harder for them to defend there)

honestly I probably misinput it more than anything. I'm usually afraid that if I use it I'll be wrong and then distracting in a bad way. But sometime I use it in salmon when I see a cluster of shore bosses I can't deal with myself but definitely need to die asap.

I use it when I need my teammates to help me keep the mothership away from the Golden Eggs. I also sometimes use it when the timer is close to running out and the quota still wasn't met.
