Where is Callie in Splatoon 2?

I'mfreakingscaredman. When I saw Marie in that trailer, alone and in black clothing, I thought she was spending some time alone to calm down after "sCometAhingLtragicLhappenIedE! D;". or something.

Like, did someone special... how could I put this, go splat?

Or was there some sort of drama occuring?

She is probably just on some sort of vacation or something.

• they split up and one, or both, went solo
• Callie has been squidnapped
• wacky fan theory that Callie is an octoling is somehow true
