Would have Splatsville been a good map for Big Run?

The question I'm asking is pretty simple but something that I've been thinking about a lot ever since the next Big Run was announced.
How good would have Splatsville actually been as a SR map? It was obviously the best hub out of the three because of the verticality and space but besides just being an extremely cool idea, would it have fit the map considering some of the more linear pathways the hub has?
Obviously they could have just added some paintable terrain as they already do for other Big Run maps but that doesn't completely erase any issues.
I personally think it would have been fine though, especially on low tide but there would have needed to be some restrictions put in place so that a player can't easily trap themselves in a corner.
I'm not sure how Horrorboros would have worked though and I imagine the other King Salmonids would have also been very difficult to implement.

I think it would've been too hard for a Big Run map, and it has to do with collision with certain objects. Plus, do we really need another Salmon Run map that make parts become islands on a high tide? Salmonid Smokeyard is already a horrible map because of that, we don't need another one period.

I guess it depends on how you define a "good" map. A lot of the big run maps have been... quirky, for better or worse, but they've still been viable and enjoyable for the most part. I feel like they could have made splatsville work one way or the other, especially if they added ink rails and other bits and bobs to it. As for whether it would be good, well.... it can't be worse than undertow, right?

I'd imagine the Salmonids would emerge from Grizzco or the Salmonids would emerge to head to Grizzco and attack it so our objective becomes defend Grizzco while meeting Quota. Maybe that would've been a neat idea but yeah the area would be too cramped for a Big Run.

I think out of every hub, Inkopolis Plaza would be the best jumping off point. It has some high ground, a lot of routes to carve out and some space to build up on. Maybe there's a massive flood and the training area from 1 shifts in and becomes a part of the map, or there's an explosion exposing an area from Octo Canyon. As cool as it would be though, I think the closest we'll get to a hub used as a map is just an area that "is near" somewhere.
