PHASE 1: iNTRODUCTiON

I know.

I KNOW.

Why do you have have to be sneaky? What purpose does it serve? Why did you put nunchucks in the icon?

You're missing out. I mean, being sneaky will help, I swear! Stealthy movements mean more splats, more coverage and more wins.

These dark-side tips reveal how ambushing is more than it seems, where to place an ink mine and what gear you need.

Now, get a snack, a glass of coke, and start reading.

PHASE 2: WEAPON
First things first, you want to pick a main. The best weapons for this is low-coverage gun weapons with an ink mine or seeker sub, like Aerospray RG. Inkbrushes aren't as effective, but if you want to use one, go with the Inkbrush Nouveau. Roller? Choose Carbon Roller deluxe. Whatever you do, don't use

- Long-range weapons like nozzlenosses and jet squelchers.
- Rollers that aren't carbon.

- Snipers of any kind.
- Sloshers.

PHASE 3: DRESS UP, iT'S ABiLiTY TiME

You've got your weapon. You need some new clothes.

I like to wear the School Jersey, Camo Mesh and Cherry Kicks. These clothes have the abilities :ability_ninjasquid:,:ability_swimspeed:and:ability_stealthjump:- Ninja Swim, Swim Speed Up and Ninja Jump.

Ninja Swim allows you to swim through ink without creating splashes, but lowers your swim speed.
That's where Swim Speed Up comes in. Swim Speed Up allows you to swim through ink faster.
Ninja Jump lets you Super Jump without letting enemies know where you're going to land.

I recommend using these abilities, but the choice is yours.

PHASE 4: iT'S TURF WAR O CLOCK

(Sneakiness is best for Turf War, not Ranked Battle or Battle Dojo.)

Hide in the ink to ambush someone. Choose a spot on the quiet corner of the map, where the enemy come to invade, like the narrow passageways at Walleye Warehouse. When somebody comes by, reveal yourself and splat them. This is so useful as you prevent the enemy from getting to your spawn. Once you've splatted someone, ink as much turf as humanly possible. This is because if the enemy thinks you were hiding because you saw them, it's likely they'll come back again. This way you can recycle your spot and move around less.

Moving on to the subs. I asked you to use weapons with seekers or ink mines. Place the ink mines at the top of towers where nobody can see them, like the centre tower at Blackbelly Skatepark. You'll need to replace it often, even if nobody has been splatted, because ink mines explode by themselves. Replace them when you have an eco-locater or have splatted somebody (the person you have splatted is wary of what you're doing and where you're hiding). If you have a seeker, take the high ground and throw, recharge, repeat.

PHASE 5: TOP TiPS
- Don't get distracted: Be patient. Don't swap positions, start turfing ect.
- Try to move around as little as possible: Stick to one area and only move when you have to
- Ink your spawn point: Charge up your special, just in case!
- Use weapons with inkstrike specials: The ultimate ninja attack.
- Don't give up: It takes practise.

Thanks for reading! Have a nice day!
