With three Banners and a decoration reaching the triple digits of rarer scales, there needs to be a way for players to be able to increase scale yield of rarer scales from King Salmonids in some way.

Not to mention, it would make my quest to obtain every single Banner in the game that much easier.

It's hard to know at this point, the current theory is that it's teasing the final Splatfest.

To me, the last major update should have a feeling of finality, like letting players complete all of the previous catalogs that haven't been finished yet, or easing the grind on something else.

I kind of doubt that this is going to be the last major update for Splatoon 3, why add one stage and two weapons at the very end of the game's update cycle? What the triple King Salmonids tell me though is that Nintendo could slowly introduce ways to ease the grind in the game in general. And...

What?! There will be a chance that we will fight all three King Salmonids at once?! I really hope this means bonus Golden Scales.

There are other games that players can play while they wait for a new Splatoon game. While it would seem too much, it's a necessary step to make sure there isn't another Splatoon game being released on the same console again, especially if said console is coming near the end of its lifespan...

I meant as in game releases, not in terms of game development. A game can be 5 years in development, but not released until the developer feels like it's the right time.

The introduction to point bonuses for Salmon Run, like the Golden Scales being multiplied depending on how many Power Eggs (not Golden Eggs) accumulated. Just in general lessening the grind in the game as a whole.
