I have found that the best way to use it is to think of it as a weapon that allows you to close the gap on and kill medium ranged guns. Since you are invincible as you use it, you should try to get as close as you can to your opponents then activate it when they try and shoot you.

I feel like blaster weapons will be better in turf war because they are AOE weapons and Turf wars will probably have people clump together more (especially on the single zone maps).

I feel like the fire rate is kinda slow and not great for covering large areas in ink, however that doesn't matter as long as your team has other options for quick ink coverage (rollers, or a faster shooter).
