    Making a Team

Hey guys, I’m Regime. You may have seen me around as NPDgames or of recent Internet sExplorer. I’m currently putting together a Splatoon team. Requirements are pretty loose, just being a decent player (minimum of A+, but I might make an exception for a newer player), and not being a jerk. We...

    Splatoon 2 Weapon Viability

There are four current weapon categories in my mind. Meta-God N-Zap 85 Sloshing machine Blaster Other popular competitive weapons. For the most part pretty easy and strong High skill weapons Chargers and the like, crazy strong but take so much percision you could just rock a normal weapon or...

Splatoon 2 Looking for Slosher recommendations. Bonus: Roller Questions

Tri-slosher has found its way back into the meta, one of its major nerfs got undone in a fairly recent patch, and ink armor is favored again. Sloshing machine is kind of weird, like a slosher-blaster hybrid, but is incredible if you can get past the learning curve. Normal sloshers don't see much...

Splatoon 2 Advice for elevating your game?

I agree with this. Who do you watch?

Splatoon 2 The Best Weapon in the Game?

I am joking, but I also agree. It's powerful, but the skill needed to play it means you could be twice as good with any other weapon. I think later in the meta we will see more use, but for now it's not a great idea to use one

Splatoon 2 Advice for elevating your game?

I'm trying to teach a few friends to achieve better play, while working to improve myself. What advice do you guys have for players who know the game, but want to continue to improve. (Stay away from obvious like usie motion controls. We known. We all know.)

Splatoon 2 The Best Weapon in the Game?

The best weapon is undeniably the Bamboozler. I understand you have already walked away, and aren't reading this post anymore. But hear me out. The Bamboozler is mobile, quick, and deadly. It just requires more precision than any squid or kid could ever achieve. We Are not worthy of its glory...

Your fresh moments in Splatoon 2

I was playing a B+ Tower Control on Inkblot, and was trying out the Dynamo roller. I hadn't had much success, which I mostly attribute to playing too close. Our team had made a defensive push, kicking their team off the tower, and their whole team had ended up in this corner. I had been...

Splatoon 2 Why Chargers Aren't Terrible

You're right. Chargers are a strong weapon type. But they're not an easy weapon type. This early in on the game, even the franchise, we're nowhere near the skill ceiling. At this point, somebody using a charger won't be quite as good as sombody using a splattershot, in fact nowhere near. If you...

Splatoon 2 Chargers: Scoped or Unscoped?

In Splatoon 1, I mained scopes. They offer superior precision due to the zoom, and the range buff is really nice. When I heard about storing charge in Splat2, I was pretty excited, and pretty disappointed when I learned it's not available on scopes. While I don't use chargers as much in 2, I...

    New Squid on the Block

Hi guys, I'm NPDgames. I'm a huge Splatoon fan, currently fighting up to S+ in Splat2, struggling a tiny bit without a team. I main Dynamo Roller, Chargers, Heavy Splatlings, and dabble in just about everything else. I can't play much lately, due to Wi-Fi issues, but I hope to stay active here...

    Splatoon 2 Dynamo Roller

The Dynamo Roller is a slow but powerful weapon. In the right hands it can singlehandedly turn the tide of a game. But if used incorrectly you will spend more time flailing around then actually contributing to your team. In this guide I'll teach you the basics of the weapon, and how to play it...
