I see some occasionally at my college campus and I also attend locals regularly so I meet up with plenty of Splatoon fans there.
I'm also planning to go to riptide in september to meet a bunch of them.
Nintendo isn't always the most transparent with communication so a lot is left up to the imagination. And because websites like twitter thrive off of negativity, it creates a lot of doomposting and pessimism.
Also keep in mind end of dev support is going to add a lot of customization options into private battles, and if splatoon 2 is anything to go by, the end of the seasons doesn't mean the end of balance patches.
I feel this way about Stamper. I feel like it should click with me because I already play wiper and dualie squlelchers but for some reason, stamper isn't clicking with me in the same way.
It's exaggerated but there is an interview from the Splatoon 1 days where Nogami says .52 is his current favorite. Of course that's almost 10 years ago so it's up in the air if that's still true or not.
I already know what I'm good and bad at and I prefer to stick to my niche. Even after playing enough e liter to 3 stars, I can't really get ahold of chargers.
