Roleplaying Adventure

Let's go on a fantasy roleplaying adventure! I'm Copilot, your GM for this thread. The rules of the game are simple. I will set up scenarios, and you will tell what your character will do in these situations. Keep in mind, everybody on the forum is controlling one character. I'll try to replay as often as I can, but I might miss some. If I come in a bit too late, I'll just choose whatever choice will have the funniest result. Keep in mind, as well, that I have not thought about any of this beforehand, and will entirely be freehanding it and taking every instance as it comes.

You, a wandering adventurer, are exploring the world. You were born with strange, tentacle-like protrusions coming down off of your head, looking almost like hair, and were therefore exiled from your village, left to wander the world as an outcast. You are equipped with only a sword and your bare necessities. During your journey, you come across a town that appears to be friendly. You walk into this town and stop for a drink in the local tavern. You order a drink, sit down, and nearby, a fight erupts near you.

You walk outside and observe the town. Many people passing by, going along on their daily business. Several building are lined around the town, including all sorts of shops selling various wares, as well as some guild buildings, specifically those for Warriors and Alchemists. There's also one dark building with a strange smoke coming out of it.

I'm gonna go to the dark building cuz squidz

As you approach the building, a guard stops you and asks what you are doing in this town, seeing you as a shady character.

I'd politely answer "well my town got prejudice about my tentacle-things on my head, so they exiled me and I saw this town and now I'm wandering about it"
