    I almost forgot that I was actually trying to get the banner that costs 999 Silver Scales, I'm at 980 right now thanks to the golden rotation, so close to getting that one, and then I can go for both of the 333 Golden Scales banners (again, whoever thought this would be a good idea deserve to have nail clippings in their cereal).

    I for some reason whenever I go against a king salmonid I only get bronze and a few silver, never any gold

    Yeah, Golden Scales are for some reason, really hard to get, and when I do get Golden Scales, it's usually just one. But that's why I make sure to play every Big Run because the Scale yield is doubled in Big Runs.

    man, I haven't done one ever since the grizzco dualies came out, makes me feel so mad at my sister for getting me grounded, the Friday, Saturday, Sunday two weeks before the next splatfests has to be a big run, I can just barely feel it right now

    Once Halloween comes around, I'm going to do yet another costume vote for Coral and Kelp. My plan is to have them wear all of the costumes available from last year eventually, but which one will win this year will be decided by votes. The remaining one that doesn't win this year will automatically be the guaranteed one for next year.

    This was the first SFM that the community decided something on as well as the first Halloween-related SFM, it was about which costume Coral and Kelp would wear on their mission to find the Chainsaw Shark for capture. The Agent 8 costumes won out in the end. The other two costumes up for votes were Enemy Octoling (Splatoon 1) and the combination of Knight (Coral) and Princess (Kelp).

    Pfft, do you really believe that Coral and Clam's adventures are over just because the current arc ends? Off course not! Those two will be present even after the new story arc started.

    I know I haven't been creating any new SFMs as of recently, but that's because I have been super busy with other stuff. But I won't give up until that list is completed, because once completed, I can get some new ideas from what was created from it.

    (Also, Coral and Kelp both chose Save the Day, just in case you want to know.)

    Well, apparently, the only way to fix Joycons that turn off during gameplay is to reset the Switch. A minor annoyance, but at least it's not game breaking.

    I'm almost tempted to write a one-shot relating to Nintendo's recent decision to decouple from X (previously Twitter). The name I have decided on is: Coral and Clam vs the Blue Toxin Bird.

    I have been watching some SCP Explained content and the funniest to me are those talking about what Dr. Bright isn't allowed to do. The fact that the one doing the voiceover actually seems to be annoyed is just hilarious.

    I am so happy that Nintendo will finally decouple plaza posts from social media. It did take them the entire of Splatoon 2's update cycle and most of Splatoon 3's update cycle, but better late than never, and hopefully we can return to the good'ol Splatoon 1 days of posts.

    I wish someone would add a seahorse model that I can use in SFM so that it would be possible for me to make a Middle Ages Splatoon story involving two rival kingdoms. I already have a few characters in mind for this, though I haven't decided on the names yet.

    General Anemone is not the one in power of the Octarian neighborhood. No, he answers to an Octoling king and queen, being their main enforcer of laws and millitary matters. Though, a lot of what he personally values are shared with the two rulers. He just doesn't mention them to outsiders because he knows that there are groups who will try to destroy any semblance of order that the Octarian neighborhood has.

    Not all battles take place in an urban environment, as General Anemone trains Coral, Clam, Kelp, and Ocean on how to fight battles in the wild. Though, Coral wishes the training was done in the morning and not in the afternoon when the sun was brighter.

    You know what would be great, if teammates could actually take advantage of the situation in which I distracted the entire opposing team to actually splat the opposing team from the back.

    Rage is kind of funny, we all experience it at some point, but at the same time, watching other people rage makes us laugh.

    If anything it makes me sad that rage clips are so popular. I don't like being angry at what's supposed to be a hobby as often as I am, no matter what I try nothing seems to help fix the problem, and to some people I'd be some big laughingstock for that. It's not a pleasant thought and I don't like thinking that for other people.

    You know what else makes Squidboards better than Twitter/X? Because of the fact that Twitter/ X users would definitely freak out over Corelp (Coral x Kelp) just because it's a shipping between a boy and a girl. Just one more reason for Nintendo to decouple from social media for plaza posts and bring back some sort of system that allows us to post without a social media account.
