If I'm using a weapon with good range on it, I like to get to the center ASAP and harass the enemy team while my team takes over as much ground as possible.
If I'm using a roller or something short range, then it's time to charge that special meter!
I'm wondering if the players on the enemy team can even see it when someone says "Booyah!". If not, then I'm thinking of starting to use it more as a morale booster when I see my teammates doing well.
If they CAN see it, then it's just taunting and might be ****ish if I do...

Hey, everybody! We should go out in force and post a bunch of posts to Miiverse that advertise squidboards. I think it'd be a great way to get the word out about this community and could help bring in some new squids that are interested.

I live ~1hr from there, but I'm concerned about the ability to pull this off. Is there a way to ensure that all players will even be in the same match? Until the August update, I fear that tournaments won't be feasible... Which may be a good thing. People need time to get used to the game before...
That's definitely a part of it. I think that if it were ready, then it would most definitely be on the disk. It seems that a Spring release is more important than having everything on the disk at launch.
Well there's Callie and Marie to go off of, and I'm sure there are lots of other cool stuff that could be done. Ponytails for girls or a lower tie for boys that looks mullet-like. There's lots they could do.

Good points. It will largely depend on play style. I've noticed that chargers that get a lot of kills start to get targeted more, when is where I figured the defense would come in handy. However, if you can stay inconspicuous, then there's no reason to get the defense upgrade.
That could be great! It could possibly be part of the "battle Dojo" or be made its own building. The obstacle course could also add some platforming-style objectives, too. There could be a time trial system with an online ranking system.
