Splatoon isn't all that fun for myself either. It's really one of those games that people shouldn't find fun unless they're with friends or to kill time. I wouldn't go out of my way to play this game myself, not by a long shot though. The netcode is definitely what kills me most with this game...

I would appreciate proof of said data

I crossed over several gear to see if stacking is an issue, well it's not. At least for damage that is. I've gotten the same results with them. Manage to test 3 offense and 4 offenses and got different results. Whether or not there is a cap beyond that remains to be unseen.
