Okay so last night I casually wrote down the syllabary in a notebook I had, hoping it would help the memorization effort (and maybe develop some kind of muscle memory for it).
However, some characters stumped me on how they would be written in a non bold/bubble form, mainly "ba" and "bu".

Very detailed! I do have a big question though, is there an extent to how much of this is based off of the actual ingame speech? It would be cool if it overlapped in a specific way so it's like adding definitions to specific lines that the ingame inklings say.
I personally feel that the Splattershot Jr has been a long time underrated weapon. I hardly see any advanced players use it, and back in global testfire it was a very underused weapon, It's bubbler has a great tactical advantage if used correctly.
Infact, all of the splattershot variations...
I was kinda confused at first until I found out you actually had to ride the tower, not just ink it.
Also what I think sounds like ice cream truck music plays whenever it's moving.
I just noticed while watching this video that the mii gunner's charging attack looks like the murder beam glitch from super metroid.
Also man I wish they added a splatoon song to smash alongside the costumes.
I would legitimately love to see this font usable on this forum, though I have no idea if it'll be possible to implement (or if they'd even agree to). Ah well, I guess we'll just use images for now.
