    While I agree that rank doesn't necessarily have much correlation with skill level, I also kind of suspect that regular battles/anarchy tends to prioritize finding matches quickly over other factors like MMR/Glicko or good weapon comps. That might be why you are seeing this.

    Maybe it's just me but I think I notice people getting splatted more frequently during Big Run than in normal rotations. And I have a suspicion that the reason is that folks are trying to get enough eggs for a gold trophy and so are taking risks they wouldn't normally be taking to get more eggs...
