Something like Splatoon would benefit more just from having the TOs pick the stages beforehand, if only because the majority don't face the issue that most Smash stages do (having hazards that directly interfere and possibly kill players).

No, it goes by server time, not your console's time. So if it's not midnight in your time zone IRL, Spyke won't have anything new for you and tell you to come back tomorrow. Your second question: rerolls do all three slots, you can't pick and choose which one(s) he rerolls for you.

Since I'm usually not still while playing, motion controls are more a death trap for me. At least with dual sticks there's no real issue of sudden jerk movements at bad times.

The current amount of players is fine enough to me, if anything I'd like it if there was a way to have less players (2v2, 3v3, maybe even online 1v1?) to see how those would work.
