This is the norm for most online games. Splatoon shows why. I'd rather wait a little longer for matches than have to put up with invincible Japanese players every day all day. This Splatfest in particular (Europe at least) has proven it works for the better and global lobbies are not needed.

It's difficult not to win as Team Eat in my matches. Team Sleep literally appears to be sleeping. Two 4v1 and a few 4v3 and 4v2 victories for me. And of course the majority have been eating vs eating.
