I don't think a single weapon will be too OP over the rest. Although, there will likely be a favorite which everyone resorts to for being good while others will be forgotten. Stages seem fair so far. Maybe if a glitch that breaks the game is found on a stage is when we'll have problems lol

Been wondering how Splatoon tournaments will work as well. Since they emphasize on the gamepad so much it's possible the one person per console thing might happen :s I fear we might not have 4 player local...... The booths at PAX and Apex were a console per person right? Having to get 8 Wii...

This weapon hyped me up for this game for some reason lol. Can't wait to see what tricks the competitive Splatoon community finds!:D
