I normally run swim speed up anyway so i can swim away from krakens, i like to make them chase me so i can lead them into traps or situations were i will have an advantage

I hope so! even if its a special one off mode when you play as a generic Octoling i would be happy but i would be much happier with having your own Octoling character to level up with a spend more of my monies on.

I touched on this kind of idea as a overcharge mode that was shareable with team mates in the same fashion as the bubbler but maybe more of an infinity ink tank for the duration of the special, it would have to be linked to a weapon with high ink usage i guess

I like your chain gun idea? maybe as a special you just stand then shooting rapid fire with a lot of power an range.. in the typical Huge mini gun style you see in films, with minimum movement possible, just spread from left to right.

Yeah i guess your right, i feel like they could function differently enough to be justified thou. The roller has shotgun like qualities i guess but i would be happy with an actually shotgun "gun" thou too. What about a special that just gives you and any team mates you touch (like the bubbler)...

I have a couple of ideas some kind of auto turret you can place down which defends an area till it runs out of ink or get destroyed or the inkling who placed it dies. some kinda of flash grenade, no damage or ink coverage but will blind the player for a short while, giving you time to escape...
