It would undoubtedly be in the best interest of EVERYONE to sign up for the same team since win rate should be around ~50% or so and thus popularity will once again be the determining factor.
Therefore, if everyone on Squidboards chooses the same side then they will all get the win bonus...

I disagree that certain rounds should be certain modes... as it could eliminate a team that is the best at every other mode.
Imo there should be a pick / ban style. Here's a VERY rough example:
Team A bans a game mode, Team B bans a game mode, Team A picks a remaining game mode from what's left...

Edit: Had two nerds and this 6/10 chick taking turns playing. Was linked from somewhere on these boards, but don't feel like digging.
Note: I didn't say it was worthless. I said you should rarely be using it.
Definitely worth being "mastered" for the few rare instances that you do use it though, I agree with that.
