For Splatoon 1:
Been playing off and on since last Summer and love this game...when I get to play it. I'm away at grad school, and my Wii U is safely back at home, so I only get to squid every once in a while.

Anyway, my favorite weapon set is the (original) Splash-O-Matic and I feel I'm above-average-but-not-great at it.
